WEBCAM WORLD.

One of the things I like to do, during my internet relaxation time, is look at web cams. Nah, not those naughty webcams - shame on you for suggesting such a thing! Lol! The ones I look at are very innocent! They merely show nice beaches and blue seas...........

Beach web cams - especially streaming ones that actually let you see the sea moving as if you are looking at a video - seem to be very few and far between. So, I thought I'd list the ones that I enjoy looking at - and maybe you will be kind enough to let me know if you discover any more!

First of all, there are 3 that I used to look at that are now sadly no more! (These were actually my favourites really, so I miss them a lot.) The first was a place called Sami in Kefalonia, Greece (there were some beautiful colours on the water at sunset!) The second was at a place called Xylokastro (Ξυλοκάστρου) in Greece. It used to show a lovely little bay with a beautiful blue sea and I could watch some swimmers in the summer. (This cam does actually still exist here but has now been pointed towards a very boring marina that just looks like a swimming pool with boats in!) The third was actually situated at a place in the Crimea called Yevpatoria. It used to show a beach which, in the summer, was very densely packed with people and always a hive of activity. Once I got my new computer, it would no longer allow me to view this cam, however hard I tried. The link now just takes me to the home page which has links to other cams, but not the one I want!

Now here is the list of those I can still view: -

• U.K. (Worthing) ~ The sea may not often be very blue, but the cam is not far from my home!


• Greece (Mykonos) ~ Worth looking at for a while as the camera moves around a lot. You get some lovely shots of the sun shining on the water.


• Greece (Ios) ~ Smallish picture, but you can navigate along the coast.


• Greece (Naxos) ~ A lovely little Greek beach. Hopefully a few swimmers to make me jealous when summer arrives!


• Greece (Corfu) ~ Not really a streaming cam, but a nice view anyway!


• Greece (Kefalonia, Lixouri) ~ A view of the square at this ferry port that I know and love well.


• Greece (Paros) ~ No close-up of the sea, but apparently good at sunset time!
  


• Russia (No idea where!)
  


• British Virgin Islands (Saba Rock) ~ Lovely views.
  


• Hawaii Beach
  
  
• Italy (Lido De Jesolo)
  
  
• USA (Alabama)
  


• USA (Laguna Beach, California) ~ Just a nice beach to look at!


• USA (Sunset Cannon, Panama City, Florida) ~ I think they actually do fire a cannon at sunset here - but I have never got to see it!
  


• USA (Daytona beach, Florida) ~ A beach of surprises (especially at low tide) and one of my favourites! I like to watch the sun come up here! A shame that the sea is never calm though!
